The World Crossbow Shooting Association Inc. (WCSA) Page of Honour has been setup to honour the WCSA members who have made major contributions to the sport and to the World Crossbow Shooting Association.

Life Membership

 Stephen Sommers has served with distinction as Chairman of the International Judges Committee and also as the inaugural WCSA Web Master. He has acted as Chairman of Judges for many World Championships and has actively participated in the drafting of rules, particularly with respect to the establishing of Teams Finals. Stephen was also instrumental in the training of International Judges and mentoring of new federations. Stephen took over as WCSA Secretary General in 2017 as well as performing his other duties. Stephen retired in 2023.

Life Membership

 WCSAs first Life Member was awarded to John Clark in 2017. John was one of the driving force at the conception of WCSA in 2002 and remained the WCSA Secretary General until his retirement in 2017. John put into place the WCSA constitution & Policy & Procedures. He also oversaw the introduction of Assisted Competitor division as well as the Bench & Prone events. John was also an international judge officiating at all World Target Championships from 2003 until 2015 - John then ran the 2017 World Target Championships. WCSA wishes to congratulate John on his fantastic effort with Life Membership.

Honorary Lifetime Officials

WCSAs first Honorary Lifetime Official was awarded to Clive Barnett at the 2013 WCSA Council Meeting in Visby Sweden 2013 . When WCSA was first formed Clive became the Officials Director and then the Chairman of the Technical Committee. Clive put in place many guidelines and procedures currently in use by all WCSA Officials. It was an honour to nominate Clive for this lifetime award and most deservingly awarded to a great man, mentor and firm but fair judge. Congratulations Clive.
